Terms of service
The agreement between you and ProgramGrid when you use the service. Last updated 15 May 2026.
1. Who we are
ProgramGrid (“we”, “us”, “the service”) is a software product for strength coaches and self-coached lifters. Contact: legal@programgrid.app. These terms govern your use of the service.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or older if your country requires it.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Tools → Sub Management, which opens the Stripe customer portal.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then; we don’t pro-rate refunds for the unused portion.
- If a payment fails, we’ll retry it for up to a week. If it still fails, we’ll suspend your account until you update your card.
- Studio plans cap the number of clients you can manage. We won’t kick existing clients off your roster if you downgrade, but you won’t be able to add new ones until you’re back under the cap.
- We may change pricing at any time, with at least 30 days’ notice for active subscribers. The price you signed up at stays in effect until that notice period passes.
By purchasing a subscription you expressly request that ProgramGrid begin providing the service immediately upon payment. You acknowledge that this constitutes a request for immediate performance under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and that you will lose your statutory right to cancel within 14 days once we begin providing the service.
4. Your data
You own everything you put into ProgramGrid: training logs, programs, client data, notes. We host it for you so the service works. You can export your training history at any time from Tools → Settings → Export my data.
When you delete your account, we cascade-delete your data. Recovery isn’t possible after that, so back up via CSV export first if you want a copy.
See our privacy policy for what we collect and how we handle it.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use ProgramGrid to:
- Break the law in your country or ours (UK).
- Try to hack, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Resell or sub-license access without our written agreement.
- Upload anyone else’s personal data without their consent.
Personal trainers using ProgramGrid to manage their own clients: that’s the intended use, not a violation. The clause above is about scraping or reselling our service, not normal coaching workflows.
6. Coaching disclaimer
ProgramGrid is software for organising training data. It isn’t medical advice and we aren’t qualified to give it. If a client of yours has an injury or health condition, get a doctor or physio involved. The rehab tracking features are for logging what you’ve been told to do, not a substitute for professional assessment.
7. Service availability
We aim for the service to be up most of the time, but we don’t guarantee any specific uptime. We may need to take the service down briefly for maintenance; we’ll avoid peak hours when we can.
8. Termination
You can stop using the service or delete your account any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, without refund, with email notice where reasonable.
9. Liability
ProgramGrid is provided “as is”. We won’t be liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. lost business, lost data beyond our reasonable backup measures, lost revenue). Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. None of this affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer where they apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make a material change, we’ll email active subscribers and update the “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the service after the change means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that can’t be resolved by talking it through is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
